Aaaahhhh love stories. I live for them. You know that feeling? The butterflies in your tummy when you hold their hand for the first time, how explosive kisses can be, when a new relationship emerges from nowhere the world seems so bright and shiny, and we see our partner as the most amazing human being ever created. It's an art and it's beautiful!
Relationships are as vibrant and exciting as a roller coaster. I'm impressed with people who consider their partner's happiness more important than their own - unconditional love is fantastic.
amanda + RANDy
Deep Ellum is a musician and artists' neighborhood. Since 1873, it's been a place to explore art and great live music. This is where Amanda and Randy met and they decided to have the engagement session in this special place. It was a hot summer day but they rocked out their session and were cool as cucumbers. They were both easy going and as you can see very fashionable. Their love for each other was obvious, photographs always display deeper feelings that words can't express.
brittany + ryan
The engagement session was a gift from Brittany's sister. Turned out to be a rainy day in Chicago but this did not stop us from having fun. Ryan took care of Brittany as if she was his queen. I met them in an apartment by Magnificent Mile, this is where serious shopping happens if you live downtown. Brittany carefully picks Ryan's outfits while he chugs a beer to calm his nerves for the shoot. I enjoy authentic moments like this, I'm inspired by people like them folks in love and ready to conquer the world.
LAUREN + SAMUEL
They were from Chicago and I shot their engagement session in Dallas. They were adorable and such goof balls. I had a blast doing their session, how they saw each other was the most inspiring thing ever. He adored her while she loved him dearly. I asked what is their perfect Saturday,
Him making breakfast (he is a great cook), spending some time outside with the dog, going on a fun adventure.
This reminds me that happiness comes from life's simplest pleasures.
SHELLEY + ERIK
Their love story starts with being gym buddies. They were amazing athletes and beach addicts. He reminds me of Adonis, tall and handsome while she's definitely Athena. If I had to choose a gorgeous lady to represent me in battle (because this happens once in awhile), hands down she'd be the one. They went on a wild adventure across the globe and I mean AROUND the world. Erik is also a craftsman as a hobby, he created a special box which held precious items he collected for her. He gave Shelley this box when he proposed. Sweeter than honey!
